Jane Doe was born in 1938 in Wabasso, Minn., and married John Doe 19 years later. The couple had two children: Gina and Jay. "In 1962, she became pregnant by her husband's brother and moved to California, "She abandoned her children, Gina and Jay who were then raised by her parents in Clements. “She passed away on May 31, 2018 in Springfield and will now face judgement. She will not be missed by Gina and Jay, and they understand that this world is a better place without her."

  1. I. Jesus welcomes us into a kingdom where we can be FULLY FORGIVEN


SLIDE- Jesus is a king who looks at his broken people and says, “Take heart my child; your sins are forgiven” (9:2) . . . a King who can forgive because he “has authority on earth to forgive sins” (9:6) 

SLIDE- A King who hangs out with tax collectors and "sinners" (9:13) 

SLIDE- A king who is a shepherd who leaves 99 sheep behind to "go in search of the one sheep that went astray (18:12) 

SLIDE- A king who is like the man in the parable who forgives the debts of a servant who owes him 200,000 years of work 

SLIDE- A King who offers his people his own body and blood, who "pours out his blood for the forgiveness of sins" (Matt 26:28)

  1. II. We can’t live in Jesus’s kingdom of forgiveness if we aren’t willing to forgive
