What is a community group?
A community group is an intentional group of individuals who are willing to be vulnerable in relationship with others, that would foster healthy spiritual growth. A place where you will be cared for, supported and serving the needs of one another on regular basis. Our community groups are designed for individuals who are committed to pulling one another along in the faith and freely welcoming those investigating the faith.
In Community groups you will experience the following:
Depth & Diversity
Prayer, Worship & God's Word
Service & Mission
Outreach & Authenicity
It is within these small communities that change and growth will happen through study of the gospel of Jesus. Community Groups will meet in homes in the downtown Memphis and surrounding communities. Each group will designate a weekly meeting that best fits their schedules. All groups are led by trained lay-leaders from the congregation who receive continued oversight and support from our pastoral staff. Groups will generally meet four times a month for worship, bible study, fellowship, prayer, as well as, retreats and service projects.
