Nursery

A volunteer and a professional childcare worker staff each room. A numbered identification system is in place to ensure that only the person with the matching stub can check your child out of the room. We provide goldfish crackers and water for children during a snack time unless a parent provides an alternative snack.

Using curriculum developed at Second Presbyterian Church, our two and three year olds participate in simple activities and crafts that help them reenact Bible stories. Each lesson teaches the children about the character of God and how to apply their lives to Biblical truths.

4-5 years
4 & 5 year olds join their parents for worship each week and are dismissed to the Nursery at greeting time. Elementary (K – 5th grade)

At greeting time, checked-in students will be dismissed. Flipside leaders will take the students to the classroom. Immediately following the service, pick up your students at the Flipside classroom.

Our elementary program is called the “Flipside” because even though we are living in this world, we are living out the values of God’s kingdom that are often “flipped” from what the world will teach us. The children learn that they are valuable to God and that they can live into the purposeful adventure for which He's created them right now.
